Our story
Lopar International SA was founded in 2013 as a joint stock company in Geneva (Switzerland), owned and managed by family Lopar.
The company is managed by Sanja LOPAR (CEO), the first European woman to create an exclusive cigar brand, created from high-quality tobacco leaves that come from 6 different provenances in Central and South America.
Lopar cigars are much more than an ordinary tobacco product; they are synonymous with luxury, purity and passion.
Our first roll-up masterpiece, which saw the light of day after 2 years of working on its delicious flavors, is the Robusto gordo-maduro, a cigar entirely handcrafted in Nicaragua. Symbolically, we gave it the name “Sarajevo”, after our hometown, from which we left a long time ago, but that city never left us….

Every step in production, from the careful cultivation of the best tobacco to the production of hand-tied leaves, is interspersed with skill that has been passed down from generation to generation.
